COVID 19 VIRUS

COVID-19

Update on our services.

We are following changes to Government and Public Health England advice on a daily basis and have implemented measures within all our services to minimise the risk of transmission.
Our priority is the well-being and safety of our staff and service users. We are therefore restricting visiting, outings and activities and have increased our focus on infection control and hygiene. We are advising everyone to take heed of the new advice regarding social distancing in a bid to protect the most vulnerable members of our community.

I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to all our staff. It comes as no surprise to me that they have responded calmly and in the face of increased pressure are ‘rolling up their sleeves’ and are just getting on with their caring responsibilities. I would also like to thank family carers who have been understanding and supportive in relation to the measures we are implementing. I would urge everyone to remain calm and continue to follow official guidance issued by the Government, NHS and Public Health England. There is so much conflicting advice circulating across all forms of media which is generally not helpful in the circumstances.

We will continue to take each day as it comes and I will update everyone as often as i can.

Leigh-Anne Smith
Chief Executive
